Modular Overview

In the previous module we considered the extent and manner in which different contexts (i.e., online institutions) call for different leadership practices and approaches. In this 5th module, we will now take a step in a different direction - and consider the extent and manner in which different traits call for different leadership behaviors.

Module Learning Objectives

By the completion of this module, you will be able to:

1. Describe the different models / perspectives from which leadership has been studied (Case).

2. Identify the particular perspective from which existing studies examine leadership (SLP).

3. Make an informed research-based opinion regarding the extent and manner in which various factors contribute toward effective leadership practices (Case & SLP).

4. Propose a research topic / question that addresses a meaningful question or gap within the existing body of knowledge (within the educational leadership arena) (TD).
