Module 04 - Session Long Project Be sure to revisit the Session Long Project Overview at the SLP page of module 1 as needed. Step 4: Your Draft in Module 4 Develop an overall literature review by synthesizing and organizing the individual article reviews/critiques in SLP 3 based on the guiding concepts or trends (e.g., your research objective, the problem or issue you are discussing, or your argumentative thesis) in the articles. You may use headings/subheadings to categorize the guiding concepts for depicting the points and organizational flow of your paper. Use an overall introduction and conclusion to state the scope of your coverage in the review. Keep the questions to yourself below in mind when you are working on the draft of your literature review:
This draft is not a requirement to submit, but optional. However, if you would like to receive my preliminary feedback for strengthening your work, please submit your draft by the end of this module. I will do my best to provide my feedback as soon as possible. If you intent to submit, please note the following to ensure that you are heading in the best direction - with a clear and logical "path" in mind: Please check the following dimensions of your work:
a. Mechanical: Look at your headings, spacing, references cited and listed. Are these APA formatted? Although your work is a draft, it should be proof-read for mechanical and structural error prior to my review. b. Structural: How does your work "read?" Is it clear and coherent? Informative? Does your introduction clearly state "where" your paper is going? Do you use section headings for guiding concepts and overall organization? c. Content: Does the content of your work focus on an important aspect of leadership? Do you draw from the relevant research to research to support all points and assertions that are made?
Again, please note that this draft is not a requirement. However, if you would like preliminary feedback and suggestions for strengthening your work, you must submit your draft by the end of this module. |
