The Leadership Medium
Modular Overview
A
recurring theme throughout our study of the research in educational
leadership has been the extent and manner in which the various aspects
of leadership applies or can be generalized across various
educational contexts. Continuing with this theme, we will now consider a context that
is becoming increasingly prevalent - yet, has not gained much
attention in the research literature - the medium of
educational leadership.
Module Learning Objectives
By the
completion of this module, you will be able to:

Depict the extent and manner in
which the current research addresses leadership roles and responsibilities
with respect to the use of web-based instructional technologies (Case).

Provide an informed
research-based opinion regarding the need for additional research
addressing one or more particular facets of leadership with respect to
web-based instructional technologies (Case & SLP).

Recognize and describe a theoretical framework to situate our
understanding of leadership practices (TD).
