Module 02 - Session Long Project

For the module 2 component of the SLP you need to:

Identify two articles in Proquest (both articles need to report educational research) that used mixed methods. Write a 2-3 page paper, in which you discuss the following in depth (with reference to both articles)

a) What was the research problem? (also refer to the research questions in your discussion);

b) What type of qualitative methods did the researchers use?; (refer to the data collection techniques as well);

c) What did the qualitative component contribute to the research? (what were the strengths of the study, because of the qualitative component? what were the possible shortcomings of the study, because of the qualitative component?

Requirements:

• include an APA formatted reference list for the module two paper
• Quote/refer to the content of the articles in the paper; (it needs to be evident that you did a thorough, critical reading of the articles)
• You need to submit this component of the paper at the end of module 2.
